P.E. Videos

Happy Week 5, Blazers!! So far, it has been so fun to see videos and pictures of you staying healthy and active. 

This week, our family got creative and took our volleyball practice to the living room!!

For the game, you'll need:

a balloon

some sturdy tape

string, yarn, or fishing line (whatever you have around the house)

With this supplies, you now have a "volleyball" and "yarn net." Now grab your family, and have some fun. We played for 2 hours the first night!! This is great for developing hand-eye coordination, working together as a team (remember to try to touch the balloon 3 times before it goes to the other side), and safe for the whole family. 

For the warm up this week, everyone can attempt the the 4 Motor Lab warm ups that I introduced this year in the gym. Do you remember them? There are demos of the Superman, Popcorn, Giraffe, and Rocking Horse below.

Use these stretches when you need to pause or refocus from school work. They are all great for core strength, posture, and motor movement. Try them out parents...it's harder than it looks.
